Key Objective: Reduce poverty and promote economic growth in Bangladesh by increasing wage and self-employment
Objective of the Project: (i) Enhance relevance and access of TVET programs
(ii) Improve capacity for good quality TVET delivery
(iii) Increase delivery of relevant skill training with special emphasis to the poor, women and disadvantaged groups
(iv) Improve skill on special thrust sector like RMG, Construction, Light Engineering and Informal
Key Outputs Expected:
 
1) 5,000 teachers trained (pedagogy & skills training)
75 CBT standards developed
2) 20 modular courses developed
3) Training institutes strengthened (64 TSCs)
4) 10,000 youth trained in employable skills
5) Five-Year Research and Development Plan (TTTC &VTTI)
6) Ten-Year TVET Development Plan

2) Development of CBT curricula, teacher guides, learning materials and assessment tools
3) Capacity development for external competency assessors
4) In-service training to TVET teachers
